Michelle Suter joined over 5,000 other CREW members at the Network’s 2014 Convention in Miami on October 1-3, 2014.

CLG hosted A. Arnold of Kansas City at the September 29, 2014 Chiefs-Patriots game.

Michelle Suter played on the firm team for the benefit of the 2014 Twin Cities United Way campaign at the annual US Bank charity golf tournament held at the Majestic Oaks Golf Course on September 22, 2014.

The Commercial Law Group, P.A. website created by Digital Lagoon was launched January 17, 2014.  

Michelle Suter joined other Kansas City and St. Louis female workout professionals in January 2013 which led to the founding of the Midwest chapter of International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring which is known as IWIRC.

Janice Tremayne spearheaded the Commercial Law Group, P.A. employees’ extreme couponing challenge from February through April, 2013. Those efforts yielded 221 pounds of food donated to Johnson County Human Services through the Food from the Bar event championed by the Women Attorney’s Association. Among other participating firms CLG came in second and in the overall contest among all Kansas City Metro Firms CLG ranked 4th!

Michelle Suter was honored in the 2013 Celebration of Women annual tribute book presented by the Women’s Foundation of Greater Kansas City in May, 2013. This annual publication recognizes achievement of women in their vocation and community. This was a big surprise as Michelle also chaired the committee!

The staff of Commercial Law Group, P.A. cheered the Kansas City Royals on May 2, 2013 in the first ever baseball snow-out at the K!

Michelle served on the CREW Network Finance Committee for 2013. The finance committee conducts monthly meetings to review the organizations financial statements in preparation for their presentation to the board.

Michelle Suter presented Credit and Bankruptcy Issues portion of the Advanced Real Estate Seminar presented by NBI in Kansas City on June 10, 2013.

An active member of the Kansas City Bankruptcy Bar Association, Michelle Suter provided monthly case summaries from the Western District of Missouri and 8th Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel to the KCBBA members.

CLG sponsored the KC CREW annual charity golf tournament at Shoal Creek on August 22, 2013. Fun was had by all and the team tried not to be too serious!

Michael Tamburini attended the Metro KC Compliance and Ethics Group August 27, 2013 meeting hosted by Grant Thornton who presented on the subject of Assessment and Mitigation of Third Party Risk.

Michelle Suter participated in the BHC Rhodes second annual Lose Your Shoes event with other area professionals in an evening of networking and fun on the Plaza September 19, 2013.

CLG co-sponsored a team with the Maslon firm in the 10th annual TCUW golf classic hosted by the US Bank Legal Department on September 23, 2013.

CLG was rebranded with a new logo on September 25, 2013 via help from 99Designs. The new mark was selected from over 200 designs submitted by 46 designers.

On September 30, 2013 Michael Tamburini led the CLG sponsored a team in the 4th annual Kevin K. Nunnink Foundation Golf Tournament at Milburn Country Club.

CLG continued its support of the American Bankruptcy Institute with member Michael Tamburini and Michelle Suter as a board member for the Midwest Chapter which presented its 32nd Annual Midwest Bankruptcy Institute and Consumer Forum on October 4, 2013 at the Kansas City Downtown Marriott.
